In this video you’ll learn about the fundamentals of SuccessBLOCs. Major topics include: filtering the Scorecard, previewing campaigns, and searching the canvas.

If you’re a program manager, you may have permissions to add SuccessBLOCs to your Totango instance and set it up for everyone to use. You can learn more about that process in another video. As a portfolio manager, you may not be the one setting up the SuccessBLOC, but you will still use them as part of your workflow.

The Scorecard shows you Goals and KPIs for how this initiative is doing. You can look at it from an organization level or filter it to look at how your accounts are performing to the goal or another user’s.

Skipping to segments, this is where all lists related to this initiative appear, including any segments you’ve saved here that are private to you. These segments may be used to power KPIs on the Scorecard or to define the trigger criteria on a related SuccessPlay, or to determine when to send a Campaign.

Campaigns are used for automated, personalized messages. If you don’t have access to create campaigns, you can still click in to see what each one looks like and even send a test email to yourself from a preview. You can learn more about segments, SuccessPlays, and Campaigns in other videos.

Finally, the Canvas is where you can visualize the entire initiative–both the internal workflows via SuccessPlays as well as the external outreach via Campaigns–all in one view, organized by track. This flow helps you understand the journey from the customer’s perspective, as you work through the manual elements required to complete various activities and power those scorecard goals. You can quickly search the canvas to isolate a particular card and click in to view the SuccessPlay or Campaign details.
